Why it matters

Squared to true north within arc-minutes, level to centimetres — yet the granite coffer held no body, no goods, no inscriptions, and the pyramids built afterwards are markedly cruder.

What mainstream says

The tomb of Khufu, robbed in antiquity; the Wadi al-Jarf logbook of Merer ties construction to his reign; later pyramids decayed as the state weakened.

Graded Contested · C on the Ancient Code honesty scale (A grounded · C contested · S speculation · U unidentified). It belongs to the Impossible stone line of evidence.
